  also, we have re- peatedly seen good results when brothers and sisters are prepared with go bags and are ready to obey direction when they face various kinds of disasters.

  The local city just sent out instructions to have go bags. A good idea.

  My service guy is an old fart, the assistant is severely diabetic. Sure hope a long legged woman is in the group.

  Local custom! I live in cattle country so cowboy boots, western shirt, bolo tie, cowboy hat? Can Mexicans wear embroidered Sombrero and mariachi (tight pants) suits? Traditional South sea Island wear is the grass skirt for men and topless for women. Take that you boob obsessed GB.

  I've been looking for a proper kilt which has to be the right tartan; a stretch to find as I'm not scotch Irish. And begorra nae tan utility kilts.

  Didn't take long to walk it back. Ambiguous "local" standards back in front. "They" define local which is probably from the parking lot to the back room. Still no mention of avoiding Taylor Swifts JW suits.

  The letter read here was presented as from the branch. Is the branch defying the gov body?

  They should have sent a directive on beard trimming and how to do it with a scriptural broken clam shell.

  i believe an an elder told someone who's daughter (14 yo) became sexually active with a 26 year old in the neighborhood, that maybe they should get married.

  so, they did... with parental consent.

  he turned out to be a ex-convict who shot his first wife in the face with a shotgun.

  Many of us have small homes anyway. A friend says they opined on putting a sister in the spare basement room next to her husband. Hanky panky would not ensue there; I never saw any man who is as clueless as he: never noticing boobs, legs butts, flirting. But it will happen by chance or design. That is one way to pay "rent".

  i read a comment somewhere that having a beard ( before such was allowed) was never a disfellowshippable offence.

  but does that mean that no-one who grew a beard was ever eventually disfellowshipped?.

  growing a beard when such was frowned upon would surely attract the attention of those with nothing better to do, and possibly lead to sniffing around to try and find things that the "disobedient" one was up to.

  Brazen conduct or disrespect for elders. Remember committees are all over the board. I was removed (unilatterally by the scheduler)from the school for keeping my autumn beard. Hollow threat to lose counseling on reading (I am above average) by a man who says liberry and unconsience. Not reenrolled after the new light. I'm keeping quiet.

  Taking a knee is an anti American sentiment, not neutral. Like burning a flag. The argument of worship and the flag being sacred is at least partially correct. Respecting others beliefs is what standing shows.
